Biography

Anders Dahlvig is the Group President and CEO of IKEA, a leading international retailer of home furnishing products.

Mr. Dahlvig joined The IKEA Group in 1984. Since then he has held several positions, including Store Manager; Country Manager of United Kingdom; and Vice President, Europe. He assumed his current position in 1999 and has received various recognitions for IKEA Group's work to promote diversity.

In addition, Mr. Dahlvig is a member of European Retail Round Table. In 2002 he received the Swedish award for Good Environmental Leadership for his independent and persistent work with environmental and sustainability issues, and in 2006 he received the U.S. Foreign Policy Association's Global Social Responsibility award.

Mr. Dahlvig earned a B.S. in business administration from Lund University and a Master's degree in economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
